RESEARCH, DESIGN & USER EXPERIENCE
Client Proposal
As a care industry expert, our client knew that even seasoned family caregivers have a hard time finding new care providers – and newcomers find the process incredibly daunting. The client wanted to use their in-depth knowledge to help a wider audience than they could reach on their own.
Our Solution
Our web app solution simplified the process of finding care by breaking a complex system into bite sized pieces. We also served a crucial second audience — care providers — by revamping the B2B portal as well.

PROTOTYPING, DEVELOPMENT & USER TESTING
Code.
Low-Code Development
We built the scroll.care app by layering a Squarespace site over several cloud-based services. Doing so resulted in less dev time, reduced costs and greater reliability.
We utilized Squarespace's "member areas" to split the app into a subscriber (searcher) area and provider profiles.
Our user flow and questionnaires ran through Typeform.
Customer databases are handled in Firestore.
Our client can easily manage those same databases with Retool.
A custom webpage displays subscriber care guides tailored specifically to them.
CLOUD SERVICES USED
“Low Code,” Not “No Code”
Using cloud services for standard features reduced the amount of custom code that was needed for scroll.care. This in turn freed up the client's dev dollars, allowing our dev team to spend more time on custom features that make this tool more unique and functional.
